This Christmas in Katoomba look out for the green Katoomba Christmas Rewards sign. Local businesses are rewarding customers for their support by giving something back. It might be as simple as a free coffee or wine with a meal, a discount voucher or free gifts. This initiative of the KCCC is aimed at showcasing the wide range of products, gifts and services that are available in Katoomba and is a part of the Christmas activities planned this year.

Look out also for the Christmas window displays as the Chamber is sponsoring a Christmas Window competition with cash prizes donated by the BMCC of $250, $150 and $50 for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd. This year for the first time there will also be a “Window Cleaners Choice” with a prize of $75 donated by the KCCC.   Any business that has its window dressed by the 13^th of December is eligible and the KCCC would like to encourage businesses of any type, not just retailers, to add to the festive atmosphere.

Children haven’t been left out either. A colouring in competition with cash prizes will be held and all entries will be displayed in selected shop windows thanks to Theo Poulos Real Estate. Entry forms can be picked up at any business displaying the Katoomba Christmas Rewards poster.
